Reed Professional Services are on the lookout for a skilled Business Analyst to join one of our FTSE 100 clients to work with them on a pivotal Technology project within their Commercial team. This role is integral to defining and delivering technology solutions that will enhance the operations of a company with a storied history and a commitment to excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Employ strong requirements management skills to deliver projects typically within a Waterfall framework.
• Utilise process modelling skills to create and refine business processes.
• Manage stakeholders effectively, collaborating closely with business, operational, and IT teams.
• Gather and define requirements, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project needs.
• Map out processes to support the development and implementation of solutions.
• Navigate vendor/supplier management in a multi-supplier environment.
• Work within both Waterfall and Agile project environments, adapting to project needs.
• Take a proactive approach to work, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst within large complex organisations.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in conflict management and effective communication.
  • Vendor/supplier management experience in a multi-supplier setting.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • A proactive work ethic and strong collaborative skills.
• Desirable:
  • Experience within the logistics sector.
  • Previous consultancy work experience.
