Reed Professional Services is seeking a Senior Tester work with one of our large UK based media clients. In this role, you will be integral to the planning, testing, and deployment of new features for their mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing tests, reporting on progress, advising on device coverage, and contributing to automation tests. Day-to-day of the role:

• Design, write, and analyse manual and exploratory tests for mobile app features.
• Improve existing tests and contribute to the development of automated tests and tools for mobile and/or web applications.
• Report on the progress and risks associated with test efforts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other disciplines to design, develop, and release working software.
• Contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing and skill promotion.
• Work within an agile team alongside multiple disciplines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in designing and writing manual and exploratory tests for mobile applications.
• Experience in developing and writing automated tests and test tools.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Gatling, Kualitee, HeadSpin, Test Studio, Testim, LoadRunner, WebLoad, Blazemeter, JMeter, Xray, TestRail, Testpad, Jira, Mantis, Invicti, SoapUI, LambdaTest, SauceLabs, and Espresso.
• Knowledge and experience with automation testing frameworks.
• Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within and beyond the team.
• Ability to influence diverse and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Additional Information:

• This contract falls inside IR35.
• Hybrid working arrangement with required on-site presence 1-2 days a week.
