Reed Professional Services is collaborating with the one of the largest UK based media companies to support with enhancing their digital offerings. We are seeking Software Engineers to join a full-stack development team, contributing to scalable back-end services on AWS and responsive front ends in React and JavaScript. This role is an opportunity to be part of a transformative project and to deliver high-quality solutions that will impact millions of users.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality solutions for a vast user base.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments to align on project goals.
• Drive best engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, cloud architectures, and pair/mob programming.
• Mentor colleagues through pair programming and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with hybrid app development using technologies like Ionic, CapacitorJS, Cordova, or similar for creating cross-platform iOS, Android, and progressive web applications.
• Expertise in JavaScript, including ReactJS and React Testing Library.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with native languages such as Typescript, Cypress, GraphQL, Jenkins, AWS, Kotlin, Swift, Python, C/C++ is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of design principles and patterns.
• Good experience with Continuous Integration and pair programming.
• Experience in writing quality code, including TDD, automation, and Agile Development.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
