Reed Professional Services are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join one of our FTSE 100 clients on a key Technology project within their expanding Commercial team. This role is crucial for defining and delivering technology solutions that will contribute to the success of a company with a rich history and a commitment to innovation.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide in-depth knowledge of a wide range of Information Technologies, integrating and configuring them to meet project requirements.
• Engage in all phases of the development lifecycle, offering expertise in technical architecture roles.
• Manage a large and varied workload, prioritising tasks effectively.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with systems integration methods and technologies.
• Design and deliver large scale, complex integrated IT solutions.
• Advise on the design of systems architectures, considering the processing and distributed systems architectures.
• Communicate complex technical designs to business stakeholders and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Technologies and their integration/configuration.
  • Experience in technical architecture roles across the development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to manage, prioritise, and multitask within a large workload.
  • Experience with systems integration methods and technologies.
  • Track record in designing and delivering complex IT solutions.
  • Knowledge of processing and distributed systems architectures.
  • Strong communication skills for technical designs.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in complex analysis, consulting, and technical recommendations.
  • Experience in solution architecture: Services, Applications, Integration, or Data.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-wide systems architectures.
  • Experience in a complex distributed environment.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.
